COM Port LED Indicators

Within each of the COM port connectors, there is an LED that will indicate the state of communications for that connector.

COM Port LED States

Off: The port has not been opened for data communications.
On: The port has been opened and is ready to transmit and receive data.
Breathing: The port has been configured to communicate with one or more ClearCore I/O Expansion (CCIO-8) Boards and the link established between the ClearCore and the CCIO-8 boards is healthy.
Strobing: The port has been configured to communicate with one or more ClearCore I/O Expansion (CCIO-8) Boards and there is an overload condition on one of the CCIO-8 connectors.
